Secrets
Emotions swirl in this abyss
Bitterness, anger, love pain
No peace do I know
Amidst this raging storm
A swirling sea of anguish
Resentment builds up inside
Bursting to pur out onto the street
I hate that which I love
For I know my desire goes unfulfilled
Loneliness entangles me
In shame I hide my face
If you ever knew it
How could frienship remain
Compressed inside my feelings
How they long to burst
To pop out like a Jack-in-a-box
To flow into the world
And yet I keep them hidden
Though it pains me, I lie
Better to keep this secret from you
Than to have to say goodbye
