Navy Life
First of all I'am in the navy so when Iam not home I'am usually at work Somtimes we work long
hours depending on that days fllight schedule. I worked in the line shack in VFA 125. I launched recovered
and did daily inspections on F-18 C /D fighter craft. Somtimes we wash them but that's mostly a job for
trainees. Somthing I'am not anymore. I'am an F-18 plane captain. I have a plane assigned to me
everyday and it's my job to inspect launch it and recover it. I deal with all kinda of pilots but for the most
their pretty good guys. In addiation to that my main job is a navy airframer. I work on hydralic systems
and the basic frame of the plane.

This is 301 the our CO's jet. right now it's in the hanger bay getting worked on.

Our flightline at work. Heres some jets sitting around on sunday when we don't have flight ops going on.

One of our jets sitting in the fuel skids, waiting to get some gas.

Yes its my ass in dress blues. Keep looking at this pic most you'll ever see me in dress
uniforms..

Being shore duty I work only 8 hours days an we have 3 shifts. I started off in the barracks but I now have
my own place a house out in town. Lemmore sucks but it's bette than on a ship in my opinion. I'am in the Navy and
I don't like going on the ship. Don't get me wrong it's a cool experinace but the hours are to long and not enough shit to do.
I'd go outta my mind.
