DAY 1 (4/29/00) - BRUSSELS, BELGIUM

We've been on the ground now for 3 or 4 hours, and awake (except for a nap on the plane) for almost 24 hours. Tired? You bet. But not tired enough to explore Brussels on foot a bit.
