The least expensive unit offering mobility and firepower. The light battle tank can be carried on a transport ship in combination with one infantry (INF) or marine (MAR) unit. At 7 credits, this unit is better suited for the task of reconnaisance. It will generally not perform well against it's heavier relative of the main battle tank (MBT).
It can only be built at Stage II (or higher) cities or the capital. It has no air-defense capabilty. Purchasing this over anti-air artillery is a tough call, but when your ground forces need a touch more armour, this is the best choice. |
