Conquering Nations
Jet Aircraft (JET)

This aircraft unit is your basic defense and attack unit mainstay.  Every player should have some sort of air-force to help protect their borders, to attack naval units or to provide air-cover.  Air superiority is one of the major goals in any major engagement.

With the next best range capability, it can move up to 4 zones, used in either initial or secondary movement.  It may be used in  "kamikaze" attacks; meaning regardless if it succeeds or fails, it won't be coming back to base.
At a cost of 18 credits, it puts it out of reach of underdeveloped cities (Stage II or lower)... and can only be produced one at a time in any city other than the capital.

It attacks with a 50% chance of success and defends with an even better chance, so the production is well worth it in the long run, but their use should be considered wisely, since anti-air artillery (AAA), surface-air missile units (SAM), corvettes (CRV), battleships (BTL) and carriers (CAR) all have the ability to shoot them down.... not to mention other aircraft.

Optional Rules:
The aircraft could be set up either as ground-attack, intercepter or multi-role.  The first two are only able to hit specific targets while the latter can attack both, but with lower ratings (2 on d6 for attacking, 3 on d6 for defending).
