     The infantry is the main occupying unit for any country's military forces.  They are the least expensive to produce and the most economical unit for defense.  They hit with a 1 on a d10 for attacks while defending with a roll of a 1 or 2 on the d10.
     They are only able to move across one border on land (enter one land-zone) unless they are carried by other units.  They may be transported during peaceful times or into combat.  They may retreat to a safe zone that is owned by a player or their ally, regardless of whether they've used their entire movement.  Retreats are not possible from a player's capital.
     Units that can carry infantry (INF) are the armoured personnel carrier (APC), the transport helicopter (TRH), the bomber(BMB) when used to drop paratroops instead of munitions, the landing ship (LST) and the larger transport ship (TRS).
     Infantry is one of the ground-types that can capture a zone or territory.  If moved into a zone that is unoccupied, they automatically capture it.  If moved into combat via transport helicopter, it may not retreat unless there is one remaining there to fly it back out.
