Welcome to the official website of author Ran Cartwright. Although he considers himself principally a horror writer, he did begin his writing career at an early age with a short science fiction story. He claims that that story is long since lost and deservedly so.

His writing career began in earnest after having read the works of H P Lovecraft. Since then he has also branched into science fiction (a return to?), satirical fantasy, and what he calls atmospheric horror.

He has also taken up television and screenwriting. Subject material in these formats tend to vary, but Ran prefers historical dramas and adaptations that he feels should be visual.
