Home Schooling.......
Rival Schools 2 is scheduled for near simultaneous Dreamcast and arcade
release in Japan on December 7th. This new version of the game will add 6 new
characters to the established roster of 22. The Dreamcast version will also
allow players to edit and personalize characters, save them to the VMU and
transfer these personalized characters to the arcade version of the game.

Coming state side.
Street Fighter III: Third Strike is now scheduled for late October
You can expect Spawn: In the Demon's Hand just before that in October, with Capcom vs SNK now due for US release in
November. That's right, November! Sadly, Cannon Spike's release date is
currently undecided upon. It was originally set for release in early
September, but that date may be pushed back.

Nako?!..In Capcom vs SNK?!?!
Hidden characters have been confirmed for what will probably be the most
talked about 2D fighting game of recent years, Capcom vs SNK. Images of what
can be termed "hidden characters" for Capcom vs SNK have been released on a
Japanese web site. The three images come from the DreamCast version training
mode. Five characters- unknown if default or hidden characters in the
Dreamcast version and unknown if they are in the arcade version at all, are
present in the images: Morrigan, Nakoruru, Evil Ryu, Gouki (Akuma), and Riot
of Blood Iori. It`s uncertain if these five are the only hidden characters in
the game, or if there are additional characters in the roster. The inclusion
of Vampire Hunter/Dark Stalker’s Morrigan seems to be the first diversion
from the game`s previously known Capcom roster of entirely Street Fighter characters.

Back to School......
The unofficially titled Rival Schools 2 is now scheduled for a tentative
Mid-October trip to U.S. store shelves. Giving Capcom fans and fighting
freaks little time to bone up on their battle skills. With exact features and
options for the home conversion. School's in session.

What is SNK doing?
RUMOR: News around says that after SNK brings out KOF 2000
the will be transfering the copyrights to Fatal Fury and
Samurai Spirits to Capcom. Sequels to these games are to be
worked on by over 80 ex-SNK staff members.

Hmmm.... I read something awhile ago that stated that the
ex-SNK staffs DID NOT join Capcom. I don't know how ture this is.

SNK...sellouts or just moving on?
Sad sad news, SNK is stopping all sales in the US, Europe,
and Hong Kong areas. SNK has also stated that they will be
ending developments for the PS and Dreamcast. (What!?!) They
plan to focus on Arcade, PS2, and Neo Pocket games in JAPAN ONLY.
Why? Don't worry folks, I'm as confused as you.

No VMU in US.
You may already know this, But I will metion it anyway.
As has been reported all over the internet Marvel vs Capcom 2
will use the Dreamcast VMU to unlock certain characters in the
arcade and vice-verca. But now my data swaping dreams have come
to a halt. WHY? Because US arcade operators are to cheap to
spring for the VMU slots. Capcom spends time making these new
fetures we can't even use. The Japanese Arcades are still a place
of real battles, and hardcore matches. The US arcades are a place of
Leg aches, And Ego smashing matches. It's a shame.............
We get the high tech games, And play them like the stone age.

Marvel-VS-Capcom 2
Ya. Pretty much ignore the November 17th update. MvsC2 will
be out for Arcade and Dreamcast March 23 2000.
November 17 1999

Fatal Fury: Mark of the Wolves
Finally SNK returns to it's roots!
SNK's latest game Garou: Mark of the Wolves, is a brand new
2D(yay!)fighter running on the Neo-Geo MVS. It is on test
in Osaka, Japan as we speak. Terry is the only returning
character. It seems he and Geese Howard's son, Rock are the
main characters. This one should be great.
October 4 1999

SNK vs Capcom screens real?!?!
It seems the SNK vs Capcom screen shots that were said to be
fake, are quite real. They can be found smack dab in the
middle of Capcom's SvsC webpage!
September 15 1999
It has begun.............
At an impressive JAMMA show, Capcom showed off it's new Spawn
game. It has third person perspective type gameplay were it seems
players can run around, pick up weapons and kill anything that
moves. Next is Street Fighter EX3. I have not played this
one yet, but I can say form the screen shots the graphics
have improved alot, and the tag team gameplay seems to be a
welcomed feature. SNK -vs- Capcom I'm sure you have all
seen the fishy looking screen shots floating around the net.
Some say they are real, and some say they are fake.
First off many have said how could a CPS2 character be on a
CPS3 background! But many have also said that Kyo looks
redrawn in Capcom style. Note the Capcom style bigger hands
and feet. This shot is said have come from a japanese game mag.
Real or Fake. You decide. As for me I'll wait till the game comes out.
And on the final note, the Dreamcast version of Street Fighter III
will contain New Generation & 2nd Impact.
September 9 1999
Street Fighter III finally Home!!
Capcom of Japan announced that Street Fighter3:SI will be
hitting Dreamcast this winter. Why Capcom is releasing
2nd Impact and not 3rd Strike is beyond me.
September 9 1999

I don't think Sega wants to repeat history.(again)
September 9 1999

August 20 1999
DC Star Gladiator 2 pushed back?
According to reports online Star Gladiator 2 has been pushed
back to winter instead of early fall. Lets hope the game will
be worth the wait. And on another note, Though unconfrimed
it seems that Final Fight Revenge HAS been scrapped. I'm
kind of glad the game looked like crap....... Though that's
just my opinion
July 23 1999
Kikaioh on DC.

May 22 1999
