A Swift and
Extremly Powerful Vessel, the Renegade Class saw active service in the closing
days of the Dominion war. The ship was designed by Admiral Michael
Davenport's personal design team who also designed the Eagle class. The
vessel's primary hull is a triangular shape wih two impulse engines sticking out
the port and starboard sides at the rear. The front is shaped like a fork
with two torpedo launchers imbedded inside. On it's underside is a Type IV Pulse
Fire Torpedo Launcher. An Akira class Catamaran/Weapons Rollbar Unit is
used and attached two that are the two daggar shaped Nacelles, small for a ship
of this class. Unlike the Akira class, the Renegade features a secondary
hull borrowed from the Sovereign class, which keeps warp reactor and EPS systems
out of the catamaran.
