Green may have a little more headroom than I originally thought . Seems to me like he's got enough tools to be pretty darn good IF he keeps progressing. Good feet. Mechanically sound. Nice playfake. All mechanically sound attributes.  Arm strength is adequate. I saw him in the Washington highlights toss a very nice farily long ball. It was about 50 yds I think and the guy caught it in stride.

It's so early though. Who do you compare Green to? Should we pick through these. Sipe sounds very plausible but how about...a right handed Zorn? Ken Anderson? can we hope he's anything like Phil Simms? Jaworski?

The thing that really stood out for me from the Oakland game (besides the high completion rate) was Green's pocket abilities, his avoidance of the rush, his feet in general--all very impressive...now were just waiting to see IF the fumbling from last year shows up, a Zorn like quality too...

Anderson has the season record for completion percentage. Green really had kind of a low number there last year. Green looks pretty fluid I think though. Like I said right now we're looking at a brief stint in one game [Oakland] where Green was almost flawless...

Simms had a bigger arm but I think the styling could be similar. Same with Jaworski. So what jumps out? These were all very good Qb's but not really I think the ones that jump out at you as elite greats right?

One thing is that our memories are probably more aligned with these guys in their prime and Green's still probably not in his yet. His league experience is one thing but I'd think he needs at least a year or two more game experiences to get into his peak years...
