He wishes "I had Torry and Issac together "( a bit of a jab to Edward Brickhands don't you think??) I brought up Marshall Faulk and he promptly said "GREG did just fine , coach Vermiel has his back to the wall so he had to go out and make changes."
But what I think is great about him is the fact that he turned around and said Trent Green is a "great " QB and that he will be the surprise of the year ...esp with the "new weapons the Rams have."
Classy . I asked him about playing the Rams in the first game ...He totally expects to beat out Mitchell..and cannot wait but he does think the Ravens have a "great young " defense , but may not be able to match up with teh Rams...go figure.
He really seemed down to earth and humble...not the "pretty Tony" that is aloof and unmotivated that everyone talks about...I do wish him well , just not in game one.
Man, if only Tony could have given this kind of effort on a regular basis and cut back on the INT's......we would all be saying "Trent who??".
