The date to tell the NFL of  uniform changes is September 1.  The Rams haven't told the league yet what uniforms they've decided on, because they haven't decided the final details. The horns that may go are the ones on the sleeve. The debate right now is whether to replace the sleeve horns with a stripe that has an "stl" on it. If there is a gold horn on the sleeve, the stl will be on the collar, just below the NFL logo, similar to the "Broncos" below the collar on the Denver uni's. There will also be a St. Louis reference on the front of the left hip, either an arch with STL or a new arch logo.

No decision yet on gold or white pants, or gold or white numbers on the dark jerseys (with navy blue numbers on the white jerseys). Probably gold pants with an arch on the hip of  the white jerseys, which could become the home jerseys.

The horns on the helmet will be identical, just a different  gold. The change you've all heard about,  to Navy Blue and "Vegas" Gold (just like Notre Dame),  seems like a good combo. The difference in helmet color will be imperceptible ...it'll be mettallic rather than solid.  Helmets and  blue jerseys will match.

I'd like to see the sleeve with the stripe, and the old Ram head logo on the side, similar to the Viking logo on the side of their sleeves. That'd be pretty sharp.

When they brought Georgia in to look at all the helmets, they had one the color of the old Bronco helmets, Columbia Blue. She went right to it and said "this is nice." The other organization folks had to tell her they  weren't really considering it, they just wanted her to see the difference from lightest to darkest.

They won't reveal the design until after the season. But bottom line...not to worry, horns on helmet will always be there...that's important to Georgia and the administration.
