| Osan Afb is the home of the 51'st fighter wing..from the 7th air force.For all u ppl who dont have a clue why i am tellin u all this, i lived there for the first 8 years of my life(also go back there every year),and since i have never met nicer ppl anywhere else,i think i owe it to them to tell u about this.Unlike what u see in movies....Air Bases are more like small towns,with an elementry school,highschool,theatre,BX and Arcades(malas wanna tell u sumore)...oh yea, some of the nicest food ever.It has ur everyday Burger King,Taco Bell, Anthony's Pizza, and a rare favourite, Popeye's Chicken(beats KFC any day)..there is also ur everyday indoor basketball court,football field,soccer field/baseball field(depends on the season).The ppl there are great....they actually say hello and offer assistance to strangers..Then there's the 5th Recon Sq...also known as the 'Black Cats'..my dad works with em,in case u were wondering, they use the aging yet succesful U-2(pic above)....u cant imagin how it feels to be so close to one of these:P.........enough about that, the night life there is as lively(if not livelier than most urban areas)......with dozens of pubs,and nightclubs...Strip Clubs are also available to all those sick military bastards who cant find a date.Every year things change, and i cant wait till the next time i go back there, last remarks, its a great place,and since u will never be able to get there, u havta take my word on it.....thats all fer now |

| Jewels is a 2 year old iguana who serves as the mascot of the 25th Fighter Squad.The squadrons namesake is the "Assam Draggins," named for warriors of years past.Jewels is the perfect mascot,because he bears such resemblance to he "Draggin" in the Squadron Patch.Although he maintains a menacing and intimidating appearance.He is very friendly to the troops of the 25th stationed at Osan.He likes to keep warm in his lair by cozying up to his heat lamp.and can get highly mobile when a praying mantis enters his domain!!!His picture up top depicts his "Draggin Pose" as he represents our squadron on our official squadron rock.No Mascot has better served his troops,or his country! | |||||||||||||||
