Basic Training
WHAT THEY GO THROUGH
Recruits get 8 hours of sleep in the 54 hour exercise., They are given 2 1/2 MRE's and are to ration them themselves(btw MRE's taste great! :P)they are then put through tough physical exercises like night infiltration courses and road marches...in the 54 hours, they march aroun 40 miles....It isnt long before the recruits are tired and hungry, but as they keep going they realise they can call on reserves they never knew they had. They begin the 'Crucible' at 3 a.m to the training facility at Page Airfield,(dont ask, i dunno where that is)
Once there, the recruits-and thats the only thing the drill instructors call them-place their gear in huts and prepare for their first of four 4-hour events. The event has a number of 'warrior' stations.....One warrior station for example, is built around an enemy mined rope bridge that the recruits must cross with their gear and are given their personal gear and some small ropes to get across.Recruit teams battle each other with pugil sticks in yet another Station.....Trust me, It isnt easy, but when u pass this shit......ur in the Marines!!!! 40 miles marched total!and 8 hours sleep. wouldnt mind giving it a shot :P

Basic training for the military is some hard shit, here are a couple of things they have to go through in 54 hours of basic training....(marines)...
