351 windsor producing around 320 /350hp. The engine was fairly stock and was very reliable.
Dad owned a few Bowell Nagari's, his first was chassie no #5. This car was sold to John Goulay who extensivly modified the car getting a reported 600hp.
Dad also owned a convertable nagari which he built from bits. This car was also raced by himself and later by Colin Edwards.
302 producing 320 /350hp
Once again this motor was fairly stock. Even so the TVR often qualified on pole, outclassing turbo porsches, Corvettes, the more powerful Nagaris and lotus elans.
Boss 302 producing 480 + hp
Unfortunatly when this car was sold it was broken up and turned into an earlier model. This F5000 had full ground effects and was an amazing car on and off the track
