In the 80�s, men expected to settle down by the time they reached 28. When bachelors hit 29-30 age brackets, they often ridiculed as old guy �matandang binata� or suspected of being gay. However with the new millennium, there has been a tremendous shift in �marrying� attitude of most single men like me.
�I�m still young� I go out on dates once in awhile if I'm free or not that hectic to my daily work schedule but I�m free as a bird. So for now, my priority is my work that I do right now. As I have seen my dedication to it has brought about great results. |

�I don�t believe in getting married young�. Some say that they get married early because they want their partners to be there as they pursue their dreams, but they don�t really get to enjoy their married life.� Traveling to places I have never been before with a special someone is a dream come true.�
Being financially stable is not enough reason for me to tie the knot. �There must be an element of sacrifice, getting to know each other, when things are unstable. The relationship becomes interesting when the two are working for the future.�
The more stable relationships are those built on trials and challenges, than marriages based on wealth. �I believe in personal, psychologically & spiritually stability must be down to earth, very good at something. Doesn�t need to be super intelligent or very pretty but must be sure of her self.�

Someone who appreciates life and adventurous to try out new things in life and visit new places. I don�t feel intimidated by person who are confident and intelligent. Its foolish for men to be going after a person who are not equally or more successful than guy because at the end of it all, the foundation of a relationship is not based on competition but how they relate with each other & how they reinforce with each other.�
�I agree that marriage is a lifetime commitment. Once you get into it, it for keeps.� People now don�t look at marriage as a sacrament. They just don�t get it. That�s why I�m so afraid of it because I respect it so much.� When I see some parents especially my aunts, grandparents who are married for 45 years, I feel that their shoes are very hard to fill.�

Tough as I may seem, but I�m a hopeless romantic guy like Romeo in search and looking. �I guess I�ll get married if I want to commit to the person I am with, if I love the person unconditionally, Well how�s that?!�You feel it!� RR convincingly states. I�m more excited at the thought of meeting that special someone in my life. I know person is around somewhere, but I don�t know whose that person is. When the right one comes along you would know.

�It�s not like love at first sight; you�ll know it eventually maybe midway in the relationship. It could happen anytime, maybe today, tomorrow, maybe next week.� RR quips. �Don�t get me wrong, I don�t believe in fate. You have to work on the relationship.� He adds. However, at his age RR admit and that�s me, he has accepted the possibility that he might grow old alone.�
�But I won�t get married just because I am growing old or I wasn�t able to find the right one.� That�s God�s will. I don�t want to get into a relationship that�s not meant for me. In the middle of it, I just might regret it, He says. RR meanwhile admits that, the single life gets lonely at times, �But I�m sure this waiting is all gonna be worth it�
Why not, indeed�.GOOD THINGS HAPPEN TO THOSE WHO WAIT.
