Putting their lives on,
the line everyday.
They never know if this,
will be the last car they pull over.
Will it be ok or will,
something go very wrong.
Never receiving the credit,
they are so very much due.
Do you know someone more willing,
to put everything on the line.
Think of the families whose,
loved ones won't be coming home.
Think of what they must go through,
each time they hear a siren.
Think of the days they go through,
ours can never be so hard.
They are out there to,
protect us.
Somoeday when you see a,
officer walking on your street.
Just walk up to them,
and say "thank-you."
They will always be in out hearts, in our thoughts, in our prayers. They will forever be missed.
