| SEARS OPENS ON THURSDAY by Mike Hill After what seems like forever, a local Sears branch is finally ready to open. Grand opening is this Friday, at the Coal Junction Strip Mall. HAIL STORM HITS HOME by Mike Hill A freak hail storm passed through town on Sunday, pelting car windows and store fronts with hail as big as an inch in diameter. Several minor injuries were reported, and over $7,000 in property damage has been discovered. |
