In this pen refill comes out of pen when it is gripped for writing

The finger pressure is transferred to the cone on refill through through which get pressed inside

On application of pressure on cones of refill refill along with it moves forward and pen is switched to "ON"

It remains in that position till it is gripped there.

Though for switching to position it requires pressure but when it is in on position the projection of switches get slightly entangles at the junction of cone and refill., so very little pressure is required afterwards to keep it in on position

As soon as grip is released or pen falls from hand a very soft spring pushes refill back wards, cones transfer back this pressure to switches which gets slightly raised.

In this way refill tip is protected from being damaged when it falls down.

A rubber wall is provided at the mouth of pen so that ink in the refill doesn't' t dry
