To specify why the name to our web-page RANA is Sabaom-Nim's name initials,that is: RA-MON NA-VARRO hi is a 3rd.DAN (Soon a 4th DAN to be) is a studant to Gransd-Master or KwanJand-Nim PARK,SONG-IL 9th.DAN whom is a student to HapKiDo Founder DoJu-Nim Mr. Ji,Han-Jae 10th.DAN a student to Grand-Master Choi, YongSul the precursor of todays HapKiDo.
Mr.RANA 's school or DoJang is named ACADEMIA de HAP-KI-DO de los LLANOS de CURUNDU wich is an afiliated school to the ASOCIACION PANAME�A DE HAPKIDO.
HAP-KI-DO is a Korean Martial Art of pure Self-Defense composed of flexibility and special exersices, all types of special kicks even flying, defensive and ofensive hand movements and techniques, falls-rolls with acrobatic movements and self-defense techniques plus its combat aplications. They include an array of weaponds including hand-gun starting at Black-Belt level.
This art is not nesesarily defensive thought it can be verry ofensive in its nature. It is built to deal with any situation even against multiple attaquers.
HapKiDo has a very ancient history and background in Korean tradition.
