Guster

Pasty Tapes Vol. 1 & 2 (One Disc)

Volume 1 Linear Notes:

We first met Michael "Pasty" Corcoran in 1995 at a small club in New York City. A skinny eighteen-year-old Guster rep adn nervous Freshman at Villanova University, Michale had embraced the Guster given name we blindly threw on his rep badge. He approached us, fair hair and ghostly skin glistening under the hot Wetlands lights and said, "I'm Pasty."

Over the next four years Michael worked his way up the Guster ladder. He spearheaded bootleg distribution from our website and eventually became responsible for maintaining all of Guster.com. He paid his dues on tour as roadie, gaining 20 pounds of muscle on The Wicked Long Tour alone. Today Michael road manages our band and his distorted image graces the cover of our rep disc.
This EP is a thank you to every Guster Rep that has helped us spread our music, and to Pasty...the first "mad man" in the Guster Mafiosa. --Guster--

Volume 2 Linear Notes:

The second installment of the Pasty Tapes is a collection of obscure Guster material, exclusively for guster Reps, their friends, and anyone with accress to the internet. It's named after our tour manager and lighting engineer, Michael "Pasty" Corcoran, who worked his way up the Guster ladder from a 95-pound rep at the age of 18 to the 150-pound hunk of 27-year old meat that now runs the show and blinds us nightly with his macho strobe light.
