Who am I?
I am a full-time missionary who works on college campuses. I live by faith, and am dedicated to the spreading of the gospel (Luke 19:10). I witness on college campuses using the four-steps booklet . The college campus is a strategic mission field. There are many international students who attend, and are ready to take the gospel back to their own countries.
My personal philosophy of life is to love God supremely and demonstrate it by evangelizing, building up believers into Christlikeness, as well as becoming Christlike in my character during this process.
Our ministry, Campus Christians, sponsors on-campus Bible studies during the week. We also have
one-on-one personal times with students on campus, and offer them Friday and Sunday night Bible studies.
We have a large Christian center from which students can receive valuable Christian material. We have over 500 cassette tapes and CDs on nearly any topic you can think of that relates to the Christian life. Our library contains hundreds of Christian books, booklets, and magazines that also cover nearly any topic or question that a person might have about the Christian life. And our alphabetical file system contains thousands of Christian articles on nearly any topic also that relates to the Christian life or ethics. Some of our Bible studies can be accessed by visiting the
Campus Christians
site.
Teaching is very important because ones convictions and perspective are based upon what one believes to be true. Therefore, the Bible is our sole authority. And this in turn affects ones conduct, conversations, attitudes, motives, and values.
We train students how to: evangelize; deal with false religions and cults; follow-up new believers; pray; lead Bible study groups; counsel; set goals and priorities; manage their time; study and interpret the Bible properly; plan, organize, and supervise activities; speak publicly; critique speakers and material; manage finances; work through conflicts; develop personal relationships; motivate and lead people; and a host of other things.
We also help Christians grow spiritually by encouraging and showing them how to become: caring, loving, hospitable, neat, clean, patient, forgiving, faithful, truthful, analytical, sincere, humble, sensitive, persevering, joyful, confident, discerning, kind, disciplined, punctual, responsible, thrifty, appreciative, flexible, Christ-controlled, etc.
Our goal is to build up believers spiritually into Christlikeness (Galatians 4:19; Romans 14:19; 1Thessalonians 5:11), through teaching, training, and being a role model for these believers. We do that by being in close association with them over an extended period of time. In all this, our aim is to glorify God!
