This is a two motor walker I built in 20 minutes. It uses two modified R/C Servos, 4 E/Z Connectors, and 1/16 stainless steel tig wire for legs. I didn't build it using what is known as the AMillar layout because I remember from years ago when I first built a walker how critical the leg shape was, and how easy it was for the walker to fall over. I was watching my old copy of Robots Rising and noticed this motor layout in one of Mark Tilden's little walkers. I am very happy with the results, it started walking as soon as the PNC let go of the pulse. For the control circuit I am using a standard 74HC14 Microcore with 1meg resistors, and .22 microF caps, and an auto PNC. The servos are driven with one 74HC240 each. This little walker is very fast, 3 seconds per foot, and can climb 2 inch tall objects with no problems. And it has never fallen over.(knock on wood)
