The Loyal Orange Lodge

The Loyal Orange Lodge, LOL # 151, "Lily of the West," was introduced in Ramea in the early 1900's by a group of local islanders, who traveled to Burgeo's "Unity" Lodge, and received the degrees of the Association.  These men brought back their knowledge of the Association and found their own Lodge here at Ramea.
At one time, the Lodge had over one hundred men on the roll call; today, the numbers have dropped to around sixty.  The drop can probably be mostly attributed to a decline in population, as well as other organizations made available to people on the island.  Average attendance on any meeting ranges from 25-30 members.
Meeting nights are the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month at 8:00pm; the Worshipful Master is Leslie G. Cutler, and the Deputy Master is Leslie Hardy.
Our Association, as well as being a strong supporter of the St. Boniface Anglican Church, also supports our local community in every possible way; all requests for charity are met with a positive attitude.
If anyone would like to become a member of our Lodge, just contact any member, and the appropriate application will be provided for you.
