The Flame Tetra is one of the most favorite aquarium fish.  The Flame Tetra is a peaceful fish that will not harm any other fish in the aquarium that are around their size and also won't destroy your tank or plants.
They should be kept in schools of at least 3 or more to keep them happy and active.  They should also have plenty of plants, rocks, driftwood, and floating plants to keep the light down a little since they don't like bright or direct lighting.
When feeding they prefer to have plants to nibble on, flack foods, and don't forget to give them some small live foods once in a while like Brine Shrimp or Mosquito larvae.

Breeding: Not to much information is know about the Flame Tetras breeding at this time, but like most Tetras they lay their eggs on or around plants and rocks and will probably eat them.  Once the eggs have hatched they should be fed Baby Brine Shrimp.
