The Congo Tetra is an active fish that should be kept in groups of at least 3 and should have plenty of space to swim around in. They should have a lot of live plants, driftwood, and a good source of light in the aquarium.  They can be kept with other fish of their size that are not aggressive.
  The males grow a little bigger than the females and has more color.
