The rolling green hills,
Beautiful countrysides,
Wonderful Italian foods,
green spring blossoms -

View One

Gag. I'll take the city.
I'm patient in traffic.
I'll enjoy seing birds
(All being flipped at me).

Sentient, cultured.
Skateboards thrashing.
In the 'burbs grows
Popular grass.

Ordinary hills,
Poems with colour:
unoriginal,
And still given names!

View Two

Its sprawling suburbs,
Endless traffic jams
[Genuine culture shocks]
And potholed roads

Rural to urban life
Picnic to power lunch
Bikes to Vespas
Gold roads and chains

Nature versus nation
Creator versus creation
A non-resolving conflict
Between reality and desire

So what I say is
Stick your nose up
Smell the spring air
Don't leave your nose there
