POETRY

Modern History

Reaching limitless understanding is what makes us happy
While wasting away under skies on central parks of shaded green
Being loved by those you cannot see is just our driving force
Plants and animals we know are nature's failed experiments
But who or what gets the last laugh as spirits wander aimlessly
Endless visions come and go but kept in memories of ignorance

Tired chapped hands of distanced triumphs shake with vigor and redeeming pride

As time makes room for more minds mumbling things about their ebb-free life
