West Coast Nature Reserve
Amanda and I went to Langebaan to the West Coast National Park looking for flowers. As the Postberg nature reserve was closed we went exploring and found some fascinating pictures.
Amanda in the car waiting for me to get off my stomach in front of some flower or other.
Of course if you lie around long enough, you end up being the subject of the photgraphs instead.
This guy just lazed around waiting for us to finish photographing him.
Juvenile Lesser flamingos. Very drab. The parents are much more colourful but were further away.
Salt marshes. The colours are really striking.
"You bad man!" I can't remember what I did to deserve the rebuke, but anyway, it made for a nice picture.
