Ode to fallen love

Like a lonely tree on an island...
I'm pushing thro' soft and silent
And like the sun you shine far off
I get to look at u only now and then

I stand like a lonely hut tormented
By lightning and storm all night
And like the moon for the night,

The seven shades of the rainbow
Used to bring in me a lot of glow
But the feeling remains, not anymore
And I keep singing a sad mild lore

Waves keep rolling an untiring lot
Be it a day cold or hot
Like the waves that keep going
No matter day or night

Dolorous thoughts fill me
And hit me hard and light

I stood like the moon shining white
You came like a comet, I cast the rest aside

The day seems gloomy
And the night looks bright

The trees look dizyy
And the dark caves full of light

Way deep in a valley
Written on a stone

Words of immortality..,
That say I love you alone

Like ripples on a claer pond of water
You've disturbed my mind

But like a boat in a whirlpool
I always feel left behind
