Life is Beautiful

Standing by the roadside at daybreak,
I saw the sun rise in magnificence,
It rose high in stalwart grace,
and lit up the world in every sense.
Larks and parrots flew by,
Forming a seamless picture across the sky,
Streams and rivers ran crystal clear,
with fish jumping in joy far and near.
Lush green grass spotlessly filled,
and atop the tree woke up the hornbill,
lavenders and daisies were still head hung
The dew on them,still wet,poetry unsung
Energy flew in and filled me with life,
I stood tall and fresh, lloking up with pride
knowing the day had begun, another one afresh
"Life means more",than mere bone and flesh..
