Sensors and features:
1) Advanced audio system: stereo hearing capacity, Amplified hearing (5X hearing of normal human), Wide band radio receiver & transmitter (50 mile radius), Hears in audible frequencies (dog whistles for example)
2) Radar Detector: detects whether or not unit has been detected by other radar and detects incoming radar (70% accuracy)
3) Radio signal scrambling system: Linked to radio to scramble outgoing messages and reverse for incoming messages
4) Advanced Optic Systems: Includes normal vision, night vision, infrared, and ultraviolet vision
5) Advanced Laser Targeting Systems: slightly larger than the version in Rifts main book , also gives a +3 bonus
6) Telescopic Vision: magnifies just like a gun scope Range:16 miles
7) Thermographic Imager: Takes ambient heat off each gives off and turns it into an understandable image. Allows sight in darkness, shadows, and smoke Range:1600ft
8) Bug Detector: Will detect the presence of listening devices Range:50 ft
9) Advanced Combat Computer: All other systems are tied in to this and the data is calculated, stored and transmitted to the pilot Bonuses: +2 initiative, +1 strike on all weapons, and +1 parry and dodge. Adds 10 targets to tracking ability
10) Roller Blades: The wheels are stored in the bottom of the feet until needed. Doubles speed of robot.
11) Active Cloaking package: Spectrum, Magnetic, Firing whiled cloaked, and Combat cloaking: can’t be detected by visual, infrared, and magnetic sensors Bonuses: +3 initiative, +1 strike, and attackers get -2 on next action after recloaking
12) Targeting Identification: ID’s robot that the computer is locked onto
Note: M-173A has Motion detector and warning system. The M-173B has Maxi-Radar. Ask GM for specifics.
