You know sometimes at night I look up at the
stars and wonder..what's it all about? So many mysteries we don't know. Hehe..of course if we knew, they would no longer be mysteries, would they? One thing that has always fascinated me, and something many people have never even taken the time to
consider is the "moon illusion". O.K...have
you ever looked straight up above you at the moon on
a warm summer's night? It looks like a tiny bright
tennis ball in the sky, right? Now then, have you
ever seen what we call the "harvest
moon"? It's a huge giant basketball size (often
orange in color) globe, right again? O.K....now
consider this.... the moon is always roughly the same distance from the earth. So...why does it
appear to change it's size?
