ENEMIES & ALLIES (HYW ENGLISH)

Introduction The Enemy and Ally mini-tournaments is a theme based DBAOL mini-tournament. The tournament will consist of 4 rounds. Each participant will play a total of 3 games with the top two players playing a 4th game designated as the final.
Who can play? Any DBAOL subscriber. Trial players can not play (due to the 3 element result.)
What are DBAOL armies can I use? All HYW English Enemy or Ally armies listed in the DBA 2.2 rulebook. The DBAOL Army list does not correspond to the DBA 2.2 army list. For clarity, the armies listed below are allowed in the this tournament. In order to avoid a tournament of all "Scot Commons" for example. One set of army types will be allowed (for example only two 24a armies will be allowed in the tournament. First come first serve, army choices will be sent in via the Fanaticus Forum on the DBAOL Enemies & Allies (HYW English) thread or email the tournament manager (me.)

What are DBAOL maps can I use? Below are listed the allowable maps for the tournament. They will be set up by the tournament manager when matches are sent out. If a mistake is made and a map that is not listed below is provided for your selection. Please let the tournament manager know in order to correct the map selections.

What is the scoring system? The scoring system will be based on the point system currently used in DBA tournaments
W = 20pts
L = 0pts
each enemy element killed = 1 pt
Enemy General killed = 1 pt
Enemy camp captured = 1 pt
Example of scoring. HYW English def. Welsh 4-3G. The score is HYW English = 24 (W = 20, 4 enemy elements killed = 4) Welsh = 4 (3 = enemy elements killed, 1 = Enemy General killed.)
How do I sign up? Go to the Fanaticus Forum DBAOL Enemies & Allies (HYW English) tournament thread and sign up. Updates will be posted on this website and the Fanaticus Forum. Just include the Army of your choice from the army list provided in this thread and your DBAOL name
When will this tournament start? The goal is to have at least 12 players sign up for this tournament, but the format allows for additional players. As a rule of thumb as soon as I get 12 players the tournament will start. Once the 12 player goal is achieved I will send out the tournament matches.
