Introduction The Meso-American League Tournament is a theme based DBAOL tournament. The tournament will consist of 1 table of participating players. Each player will play each other player in the table. The winner of the tournament will be the player at the top of the table at the completion of the tournament matches. |

Who can play? Any DBAOL subscriber. Trial players can not play (due to the 3 element result.) |

What are DBAOL maps can I use? Below are listed the allowable maps for the tournament. They will be set up by the tournament manager when matches are sent out. If a mistake is made and a map that is not listed below is provided for your selection. Please let the tournament manager know in order to correct the map selections. |

What is the scoring system?The tournament will utilize the NASAMW scoring system Victory Conditions Met Winner: 20 points plus (+) enemy elements destroyed + BONUS minus (-) own elements destroyed. Destroy 2 elements and take camp get 24 points plus 2 Bonus points = 26. Lose an element so total is 25. Loser: Enemy elements destroyed plus BONUS Destroy a general and get 1 for the element and 2 point bonus for general each enemy element counts as 1, camp/BUA as 2, just like to determine winning and losing. The BONUS points are +2 points if the enemy general is destroyed (so a general is worth 3, 1 for the element and 2 points bonus +2 points if the enemy Camp or BUA is taken and occupied (so a total of 4, 2 for taking to win the game and 2 BONUS)Denizens and Camp Followers do not count as elements nor for Bonus |

How do I sign up? Go to the Fanaticus Forum DBAOL Meso-American League tournament thread and sign up. Updates will be posted on this website and the Fanaticus Forum. Just include the Army of your choice from the army list provided in this thread and your DBAOL name. Players will also declare their army composition. The army composition must conform with to the army lists identified in the DBA 2.2 rule book (listed above.) The declared elements will be utilized through our the tournament. The Tournament Manager will verify army list for correctness. |

When will this tournament start? The goal is to have at least 8 players sign up for this tournament, but the format allows for additional players. As a rule of thumb as soon as I get 8 players the tournament will start. Once the 8 player goal is achieved I will send out the tournament matches. |

Tournament Fixture Format The position of players in the tournament table shall be determined by the number of points scored during the tournament. The player having scored the highest number of points being at the top of the table, and the player having scored the lowest number of points being at the bottom. If any 2 or more players have scored the same number of points their position in the table shall be determined on elements killed/elements lost difference, that is to say, the difference between the total number of enemy elements destroyed by and against a player in the tournament Matches, and the higher or highest placed player shall be the player with the larger or largest goal difference. If any 2 or more players have scored the same number of points and have the same elements killed/elements lost difference the higher or highest placed player shall be the player having destroyed the most enemy elements in tournament Matches. If any 2 or more players have scored the same number of points, have the same element killed/elements lost difference, and the same number of destroyed enemy elements. The champion will be determined by a one game playoff. The player which is at the top of the table at the end of the tournament shall be the Meso-American League Champion. This will be the area where tournament participants can check on the tournament status/updates. It will be updated as required by the tournament manager.
