Announcements

Safety is Rule #1.

Everyone that is coming to the event, please do not horseplay, drive spiritedly, and be inconsiderate to the neighbors on public roads. Being Pulled over and getting a ticket could seriously risk the event from happening that day and for any future dates. You will be removed without a refund. This goes the same for when you leave the premises for lunch or after the event. =)

We all want to be here, and for everyone’s sake please drive responsibly.

All Drivers when not driving are workers. If you do not work, your time will not be recorded and you will be ineligible to place or receive awards.

Schedule of Events (and notes)

8:00     Registration Begins/ Preferred Arrival Time

-         Competitors: Turn onto Northrop Lane and Park in Pit Area. Space is limited so please be considerate when laying down your personal items while unpacking. Come over to Registration.

-         Competitors with Trailers: Pull up beyond the Barnyard and into the Spectator/Trailer Vehicle Parking Area. Come over to Registration.

-         Spectators: Turn onto Northrop Lane and Park on the other side of the Pit Area along the road. Everyone has to come over to Registration to sign a waiver for spectating.

-         Sponsors: Pull up beyond the Barnyard and into the Sponsor Area. Look for direction from event organizers.

-         Media: Park in the Spectator Area and come to Registration.

8:15     Tech Begins

-         After you have registered, fill out the appropriate paperwork and line up on the side of the Barnyard for tech inspection.

-         After Tech Inspection, pull your car back into the Pit Area

8:30     Course Walk

-         Optional for everyone, but I would recommend it for you to learn the course before having to drive on it

9:00     Registration and Tech Ends

9:10     Driver’s Meeting/Sponsor Announcements

-         Everybody has to be there, plus you get to meet the sponsors!

9:30     Heat 1 (2WD Street & Rally)/Worker 1 (AWD Street & Rally)

-         Drivers get into your car and Line Up. Safety Marshal will direct traffic to ensure a safe crossing from pit area to the Lin up.

-         All drivers that are in Heat 2 will be workers in Heat 1. You will be given worker’s assignment during registration.

11:00   Heat 2 (AWD Street & Rally)/Worker 2 (2WD Street & Rally)

-         Workers, please hand off your flags and radio to the next group of workers

-         Drivers, line up!

12:30   Lunch Break

-         We will provide hotdogs and sodas at a small fee, but Chips and Water are free! Please buy food from us since the money goes toward covering the cost of the event. We count on you.

1:15     Prepare for Afternoon Rally!

-         The course may be re-arranged in the afternoon to avoid heavy traffic areas. Walking the course before the afternoon race might be a good idea.

1:30     Heat 1 (2WD Street & Rally)/Worker 1 (AWD Street & Rally)

2:45     Heat 2 (AWD Street & Rally)/Worker 2 (2WD Street & Rally)

4:00     Cool Down/Course Cleanup

-         The more people that participate, the faster we get done. We appreciate your help.

-         I encourage everyone to help pick up trash, pile up cones, repack the dug up areas, and bring the equipments to the registration desk.

4:45     Awards Ceremony/Sponsor Give-away and Prizes

-         We are ending the event before 5pm so that those who have to drive a long distance home can do it before the sun goes down.

-         We expect all to stay since we’re giving out trophies and taking Media pictures for our media CD. Also, everyone should be receiving something from the sponsors as I’m told.
