Educational Attainment:
His first assignment was St. Anthony de Padua Cathedral, Marbel. Then to Sto. Niño, South Cotabato, where he stayed for more than three years. Later he was appointed Dean of Studies at Our Lady of Perpetual Seminary (OLPHS), Marbel. On June 23, 1995, after his
assignment in the OLPHS, he voluntarily submitted for a heart surgery at the
Manila Heart Center. Upon recovery, he stayed at Sts. Peter & Paul
Parish, Lagao, General Santos City. Later as resident priest of Glan, his
hometown till his final rest on September 20, 2002. Personally, Fr. Boy Noel was
a very humble and silent individual but with a sharp and deep mental vision.
He introduced measures for the good and welfare of the Diocese particularly
the clergy. He was a pet among his peers who considered him a good leader. He
will remain alive with us in the masses and songs, religious and
non-religious, which he composed. He will be forever in our hearts for the
beautiful sermons and homilies we heard. His memory will linger through the
ages by his “NOTES and REFLECTIONS on SUNDAY GOSPELS YEAR A, B and C. |
