This "Goenka" family includes Rakesh, Kavita, Kunj and Shruti. We live in a sprawling suburb called Novi in Michigan about 30 miles west of Detroit downtown. Our townhome community is called Arbors, part of a big construction by Toll Brothers.
We enjoy time together as family and are keenly interested in Wildlife, travelling, world events, scientific discoveries, park walking and gardens.
We firmly believe in the magic of family and all the joy it brings. |

We lived in Chicago for 5 years and then moved to Detroit where we have been living for more than a year now. We absolutely love midwest, with all its tempramental "wind" and "snow". Chicago offers diversity, great music and wonderful food and Detroit has its own sublime offerings in terms of its history.
I, Rakesh, work as an Enterprise Java developer and Kavita, though qualified as MCA, chose to stay home to take care of son Kunj, who is now 9 and Shruti who is 3. Shruti was born on April 13, 2001 in Naperville, IL. |
