YAH I DO AGREE WITH THIS POINT, IT CAN HAVE DETRIMENTAL EFFECT ON THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE ATTENDING THIS CONFERENCE. AS THE AUDIENCE FOR THE MOVIES HAVE DECREASED IN MOVIE HALLS DUE TO THE MOVIE CHANNELS VIZ HBO,STAR MOVIES ETC. BUT THE VERY IDEA OF BROADCASTING THIS CONVENTION ON WEB IS WORTH ACCOLAIDS! I APPRECIATE IT! I SUGGEST WE SHOULD HAVE A COMPLETE VIDEOGAPHY OF THE CONF AND THEN WE CAN EDIT IT,MAKE IT A SORT OF DOCUMENTRY FILM AND THEN MAKE THIS FILM AVIALABLE ON NET FOR THOSE WHO COULDN'T ATTEND IT.I OFFER MY SERVICES FOR THE SAME,AS I DO HAVE WEE KNACK OF IT AS I HAVE WORKED AS THE ASSIT. DIRECTOR IN A BOLLYWOOD MOVIE [ALTHOUGH I LEFT IT  FOR THE SAKE OF MY MEDICAL CAREER.] TAKE CARE!

There is also another danger. If people find out that they can attend the conference and watch it live on internet via video, then nobody will bother to come to the convention. If the hall is completely sold out, and there is no space to accommodate more delegates, then we can adopt e-conference idea.

(1) In my personal view, the purpose of the conference is to meet fellow Rajputs, and shake hands, exchange smiles and greetings and talk and intermingle. It also gives you a chance to see different far away places, like London, Europe and India and many places in the USA.

(2) E-conference is a great idea, but it is not the same as personally and physically attending the conference and actually meeting people face to face.

Hi there,

I know this idea of broadcasting doesnt look feasible this time but still I found one website which allows free broadcasting from our web cam or any other camera.

http://www.webcamnow.com  please check it out. If we have webcam and I am sure lots of us will have that, or any handy cam then we can broad cast it. And its free !!!..

Other option of yahoo or MSN messanger is also there.

So just have a look and if possible make it happen.

Cheers,

Ajit

Yes, it is good suggestion from Daivat Jhala. If we want to make conference

"International" in real sense then it must reach to majority. We don't want it to be a merely party and picnic time. If we really want to make this conference platform for ' World organization of Rajput ' – WOR ( brain child of Dr. Jayendrasinh Jadeja ) than we must consider it reaches to whole world in real meaning.

Second thing to draw your attention is - Unless some thing personal, Please reply all mail to the group it self with cc to concerned member so that all other member can know the Group activity and correspondence involved rather than one to one basis mail.

Very good thinking. I am sure we will be taking movie of the conference then it shoudnt be too hard to broad cast it. If we cant find way of broadcasting it then we can create a common rajputconference yahoo id and eveyone will add it to their messanger and then we can use messanger's web cam facility to broad cast it.

Mean while I will find out what will be the best way to broad cast vedios. I will look at different options and will through some ideas as i go..

I have received Delegates form of 2nd International Conference in UK. I
really appreciate theme behind this togetherness, it's a nice developmental

I would like to give one suggestion in this regards that maximum Rajputs
community available in India and every Rajput is not capable to attend this
conference in UK. So if it is possible to organize E-Conference also then
it would be better and maximum Rajputs can take part in this international
conference. By E-Conference I mean to say that this international
conference telecasts through internet then every Rajput located anywhere in
this world can be a part of it.

Waiting for your reply in this concern.

Hello All,

I think this is a wonderful idea to take advantage of the
technology available. It could be done in the similar way as the one
used for showing cricket matches using web-streaming in different
parts of the world, only you have to take care of the no. of people
who access it at one single time so that the things don't fall apart.

And also we can have small clippings of the video of the
conference which could be made available via various Rajput websites
for later viewing.

Subject:  Registration Document for 2nd Rajput International Conference

2nd Rajput International Conference – Registration Document

1. Welcome:- Rajput Samaj of UK welcomes the opportunity to host the 2nd Rajput International Conference (RIC). There are good reasons for taking these forward and making conferences of this nature a permanent feature in supporting our need to develop increased links in enabling us to move forward together.

Gujarat Rajput Yuva Sangh delivered the first ever RIC in 2003 – we are now looking to build on the foundation laid.

In particular, by Pulling – Together, we ought to realise the potential we have and to this end identify key steps to achieving them.  By developing new ways of working together through partnership working, building trust and formulating effective and collaborative strategies should pave the way.

We welcome continued encouragement from Gujarat Rajput Yuva Sangh, RANA and from our membership - this inspires us and we look forward to meeting you all.

2. Our Aims and Objectives:

Our aims are to:-

·        re-enforce the strength of Rajput traditions and heritage and the need to transform these to the present and future generations

·        review the shared experiences of Rajputs in different parts of the globe, underpinning the strong influences and the fast occurring changes around the world

·        establish and extend relationships with Rajputs abroad and develop excellent linkages to promote and progress common values and sharing best practice

·        look for a way forward on how to meet present day issues and identify key future challenges and ways in which we might overcome them

·        Identify means and actions on how we can build on our strengths whilst overcoming our weaknesses and barriers which hinder our growth and progress

·        establish commitment of how delegates can contribute to the long term vision of preserving and transforming our heritage to meet the changing needs

Our objectives are to:-

·        build a shared vision of the way forward to meet the current day influences and to transform strong Rajput values and traditions to present and future generations

·        understand and highlight these influences in different parts of world

·        facilitate a forum for achieving integration at all levels among Rajputs of varied lineages and thus initiate building of cohesive and effective community force for brighter future

·        re-enforce the fact that individually we are doing a lot to preserve our unique heritage but there is still a mountain to climb

·        unite and bring together all Rajput Organizations and people from all over the World under one roof creating a sense of  - we are all in this together - it is

OUR SHARED FUTURE “

How will the conference aid in meeting these objectives:-

·        by re-enforcing our strengths - through key speakers

·        by engaging delegates in discussions on common issues which threaten our value system and barriers which we need to overcome in order to realise our full potential.  - Through workshops and debating forums

·        collective engagement of the widespread Rajput community across the world to help preserve and transform our shared heritage -  by organising such conferences on a regular basis

Subject:  Medium for Interaction

Dear Neerav,
This is in continuation of my earlier message in subject line of too many web sites of Rajput community. As suggested by Mr. Ajay Kumar Singh P, Sanford, Orlando of common Rajput portal is good suggestion. If you are expending ( kudos to you , that you already have well redesigned your site compare to earlier one ) RanaYouth web site or any other portal for Rajput Samaj is coming with all such futures like as of Yahoo Group we are ready to close our Group. You very well know that any message posting on this group reaches automatically to all its member, let it be 100 or 1000 member. In Yahoo
Group all member whether active or silent can feel parting like experience when they get message at their mail box. While on web site only active member will part either in discussion forum and other majority member ( up to 90 % ) will not be even aware or bother to  read or surf all that area. All message exchanges in guest book will be only one to one basis and again majority among them will be silent witness. If the member among them want more interaction then Yahoo messenger is more powerful tool. It is indecent or odd ask some body to ask for chat through guest book message. But It does not look odd or indecent to click and say hi,  to even some unknown member while seeing their on line status on members list of this Yahoo Group. Because of this reason only all leading
institutional web portals have their Yahoo Groups with common interest members Group among them.
As long as matrimonial things are concerned Rajput Vivaah is best available option.

But apart from matrimonial there are so many other things which require to unite community like social, business, political, carrier guidance and help, professional interaction, etc., Yahoo groups and messenger are the best platform for bringing community nearer to each other.

 Dear Neerav and everyone,

We do agree with your points that too many sites for we Rajput is not going  to serve cause of uniting community. Also it is proven fact RanaYouth website has all excellent futures with discussion forum covering all our issues and causes. It is regularly updated because of your, Aditya, Amar and Vik's good administrative effort. At the link area ( at Left hand column of this group ) of this we have already described RanaYouth site for this thing.

Because of this reason only we are closing one another Group of AllRajput  http://groups.yahoo.com/group/allrajput/ which exist for more than two years with around 125 members on its list. Mr. Ajit rathod, Sydney, Australia well heartly agree to merge his Group with RajputWorld Group. Even then web sites like RanaYouth and Groups of Yahoo/ MSN are totally different things. All Groups member can participate in news, views, issues and causes even with out visiting web pages every time through their mail box. With POP mail facility you can have all messages, discussion posting, etc., of the group at single click to your mail box which you can read and reply at your convenience time and even without going on line. Members among them can see on line status of other fellow members and can chat (including voice and web cam) with each other with most popularly used Yahoo messenger. Web site like RanaYouth can not support all these features. All leading institution (like academic University or Company) do have their web site plus Group of Yahoo / MSN for members to interact among them. For the reason I appeal to all our leading websites to give well heartly links to this Group  (or any other one such popular Group ) for their efforts for such noble cause for our Rajput community. We are not like rivals to each other but wants to support each other for the same common mission. I privately tried with you all for giving links to your site for this group but you all remain silent. Come on Friends, Let us make community service in real Rajput spirit.

I love the idea of one single platform for all to communicate, just that we need to make some accomodation to the platform.

Features wise i just love ranayouth.com.. its simple effective and does the job...

Some points to think other wise The only concern there is the audience.. i have seen
the gaps in perceptive of the US youth versus the Indian. We have bulk of them as youth with discussion and view points which can be put up to the rest after a bit of "re-framing". Also with the enitre folk there the youth will feel restricted to go with the flow
that they currently have... Not all will be as accomodative as the current members...

 Solution
I guess if we can make a youth area and a sabha area on that then we are in perfect harmony. We also can plan to have one single portal for the entire commuity over a period of 9-12 months when the etiquites and expectations have been set and sink into
all the members. This can truely become the platform for the entire community across the globe...

Just sharing my thoughts... any change in perspective  is always welcome.

Hi All,

Having a Yahoo group for Rajputs is a great idea. Let's expand
activities and prepare a directory of Rajputs worldwide as well
which should be accessible only to members.

The directory may contain contact info and brief intro. Members may
choose to share info which they can comfortably publish.
They would be able to add/edit/delete their own profiles as and when
they choose to do so.

I believe it would facilitate better interaction.

Any suggestions....?

Thanks & Regards,

Dear Alok and Ajay Kumar Singh P,Sanford, Florida

Thanks for your sujjession and offer for Moderation of group. It is wellcome
move because this is like community service and It is understandable that we
all are involved in our job and can not spare full time for such activity.
So whoever of us get time can moderate to keep group active rather than
message posting at long interval. This will be definately good for group if
it is handled by more hands to keep it active. Yahoo permits up to 15
members to moderate any such group. Our only intention is to create good
platform for our Rajput community to interect with each other.
For the matter of your sujjession for spam and unsolicited message posting
on group to inform you that in the past some member were complaining that it
takes too long time for message to appear on group ( after approval of
moderator ) and they wants it to be immeadiately posted. Spam is worlwide
menace and cannot be avioded but if there are more moderator means any of us
can immeately delate such posting and remove it from group messages. ( u
can't aviod mail reached to member ). Once you convert Group to restricted,
it cannot be reverted to unmoderated again so we will see if some thing like
spam or unsolicited message problem will happen we will use the option of
restricting group.
Administative changes are made to act you as Moderator in our Team.

Our Moderator team will be as under.

Like as of our RanaYouth website, let us start some discussion forum related to Rajput issues. We can discuss so many topics Like

Rajput web sites and Yahoo/MSN Groups

Jay Mataji.

As on now so many websites and Yahoo / MSN Groups related to Rajput community are available on net. Also there are many periodicals and publications for years.

I think sole purpose of such web sites or publications is to bring all Rajput community members closers to each others which can be helpful either for matrimonial, social, political, business or so many other reasons.

Today is age of Internet. Our community is not confined only to Gujarat or India but has spread all over world. Periodicals and publications are not so easily accessible like website which is only finger tip away from any body at any part of world. All our periodicals like Path ane Praksh, Kshatriya Bandhu, etc., and other publications like Members Directory etc, Should regularly mentioned of all such sites web sites.

So many of our Rajput Samaj Manadals are there at every town and city of Gujarat, India and world wide. They all regularly makes gathering on Dussera or Diwali occasion. On such occasion they should distribute printed information of all such Websites, MSN or Yahoo Groups. I think this should be part of service for all of us to bring community closer by way of informing them of such websites. All websites owner among them should give link to each other websites. I have come across following websites so far. There may be exist more must be keep on updating by any of us at what ever platform available.
