The only survivor of a shipwreck was washed up on a small, uninhabited
island. He prayed feverishly for God to rescue him.

Every day he scanned the horizon for help, but none seemed forthcoming. Exhausted, he eventually managed to build a little hut out of driftwood to protect himself from the elements, and to store his few possessions. But then one day, after scavenging for food, he arrived home to find his little hut in flames, the smoke rolling up to the sky.

The worst had happened, everything was lost. He was stunned with grief
and anger. "God, how could you do this to me?" he cried.
Early the next day, however, he was awakened by the sound of a ship that was approaching the island. It had come to rescue him.
"How did you know I was here?" asked the weary man to his rescuers.
"We saw your smoke signal," they replied.
=====
It's easy to get discouraged sometimes when things appear to be going
badly.
But we shouldn't lose heart, because God is at work in our lives, even in
the midst of pain and suffering. Remember, next time your little hut is
burning to the ground; it just may be a smoke signal that summons the
grace
of God.

For all the negative things we have to say to ourselves, God has a
positive
answer for it.

Pass this on; you never know whose life may be in need of this today.
Believe me, there are some days when we all feel that our huts are
burning.

Oops!,

I forgot to paste that email. Here it is:

Dear Mr. Ravinder Singh and Mr. C. Umashankar,

I am so concerned about your feelings that I should have clung on to my job and should have taken recourse to the courts. But an intrinsic analysis will reveal otherwise.

Had I been running from the scene I wouldn't have resigned but enjoyed the glamour. Moreover, I am myself an expert in service matters and had won my own case relating to a service matter in the Supreme Court while arguing in person. Besides, in 2001, I got gold medal in law from Bombay University. That being so, I could have handled my grievances in the CAT and other Courts on my own and could have succeeded, too.

If I followed that option, which is akin to what is being suggested by Mr. Umashanker, I would have faced the following consequences:

FIRST: Spend unending years in court battles.

SECOND: After winning get marked become a black sheep and then always get dumped in a posting where you get salary with grand perquisites but without any work. No one ever will give you sensitive work.

THIRD: As you languish the corrupt will thrive in best of the positions.

FOURTH: You will be able to contribute nothing to the society by taking salary without work.

Having analysed this situation I made myself equipped with almost each and every law of the land. Moreover, I had got a practical cutting edge experience in handling matters relating to the violations of law, investigating them and then pursuing the cases right upto the Supreme Court. Hence I concluded that if I quit I will have the following advantages:

FIRST: Being equipped in law I can take the issues for innumerable people who suffer on account of those laws which corrupt govt servants are supposed to implement but they do not implement, for money.

SECOND: Having a very profound understanding of corruption in high places thriving behind the complicated laws I can help honest NGOs taking up anti-corruption related matters.

THIRD: There is a vacuum in the legal field of those people who have seen the courts as well as the implementation and non-implementation of laws in the govt. from inside. This experience can fill up a void in this area.

FOURTH: Being free to speak and with a different view of looking at things, one can bring into public domains so many matters which only a person who understands the govt from within can do so. Being in service one cannot speak and if he does he is branded as indisciplined and then nailed.

FIFTH: It is better to take up matters related above when one is young. Not only does this command greater credibility but it also gives a better orientation to mental faculties at the right age.

SIXTH: Being outside, one can also take a dynamic initiative for policy reforms.

SEVENTH: Law is a profession where to make both ends meet is very easy. Moreover, one can generate surplus income which can be channelled for society's good.

I would be the last person to take a decision on impulse. I have taken this step only after a rational analysis, which leads to this singular conclusion. It was certainly a lesser evil.

I am grateful to my friends who have thought so fervently about me.

Regards,

Y.P. Singh

Subject: [RajputWorld ] Vote for Taj Mahal

Jay Mataji

Dear friends,

People worldwide are casting there votes to elect the New Seven Wonders of the world.

Initially, there will be short-listing for 21 monuments till February and then the voting will continue and will be announcing the New Seven Wonders of the World on January 1, 2006.

The Taj Mahal, for which we are proud to be, is also in the competition.

As of yesterday, Great wall of China is leading with higher votes and the Taj is in the seventh place.

To bring this china wall to first position, more than 50% of votes are cast from the home country china.

Unfortunately,

the Taj is in the seventh position because of only 1.9% of votes from Indians.

Can we spend sometime to cast our votes ?

Just login www.new7wonders.com and cast your vote.

Dear All,

BUT my question is that how we wants to go ahead in this matter.
how much long time we all(the entire nation)will become a silent
spect. in such cases ?

I thinks we all must oppose the govt.of India and should write
mails/emails to Presi. of India/prime minister/cheif justice and
other concerened authority.

PLEAESE REMEMBER SILENT PEOPLES ALSO BECOMES A PART OF COURRPTED
SYSTEM and equally becomes guiltty.

No God will born again here its only our own aweareness and our
own efforts will help we Indians.

P.S. I am searching the email address of conerened dept./office
beareres in this regards. plz do help me atleast in matter

Great information and efforts.Res. Mbcji always(offline and
online) praised your efforts, hardwork, zealness and concern for our
community. You and your team really deserves our salute in this
regards. We all understand that its really hard to maintain all this
things in such systmetic way.

I really like your approach towards helping community persons and
the creteria is also well perfect.Actually I too wants to suggest
that helping such families(not any particular family) one condition
should be that atleast one kid/child of such family must take
education compulsorry.

hi to all. i am writing after so much time only because i am just over with my exams.about the mail of mr dev thakur and mr rupes ji over seer issue, i appeal all members to rfrain for political discussion. this issue has more to do with political that with religious. as neither of us know about reality. just rallying behind someone without knowing about reality is non sense.
all the issue of seer episode is result of mandir-math politics. see wherever there is a kursi (power) there is politics and all sort of things. so no use of discussing this issue.
about teesta issue, there is no such proof as in case of seer issue. otherwise even police men do not arrest vvip people without any solid reason knowing well that such issue raise so much heat. ok for know .

Now let me give you one real example of other community cast peoples :

Last month one of local nationalised bank manager had filed an FIR in rajkot city against its two bank officer for cash stolen by them from the strong room. now the investigatting officer whose surname is Sarvaiya( So i thinks he is a rajput) arrested both the said offecer and produced them to the local court for further investigation. the accused officer (belongs to SC/ST caste) told in the court that investigeting officer beat them and absued for their 'jati' and filed an FIR against the said investigeting offfice under the 'aietrocity' act. on the next day, peoples of SC/ST caste organise a rally and demanded punishment for the said inv.officer. and the dept. transfer him and now he is facing the dept. inquiry.

We do  not the know the fact and other relavance of the case and its a sub-judice matter so can't comment anything . only I wants to say that other community person can save/protest for their criminal persons(in real life and not by talking like us BIG AND BIG) against whom their own employer had filed an F.I.R. BUT WE NEVER SUPPORT A RAJPUT why ?

Why we ignores our own community people ?

Why we can't support Y.P.Singhi or other Rajput officer in real life instead of talking big and big and praising our great history and culture  ?

Plz let lets all think if we still can represent /force govt. in this regard or can do any other thing ?

Dear Divyarajsinhji

I hope that you are in fine mood and good health.I understand that
you may be still 'naaraj' with me. but there is really a very great
misunderstanding you had regarding my that mail.

I am sure that both you and me had made comments/expressed views
on the group were of the general nature but unfourtunately you taken
my views personally and felt hurt.NOW, let me say you one thing that
i have high regards for you and its not for you high degree or
profession  or any other things. I never judges peoples through such
cosmetics things. You deserves such high regards from me due to your
humble nature your initiatives for helping needy persons.

I too wants to help such families (the great mistake in my that
mail is that i had put there  the word family instead of families)
but i thinks its more better to help them through some institutional
way rather then in some individual way and help should be in some
such manner that by the time being such families can
become 'independent'(now plz dont misunderstood this
word 'independent')
I had not mentioned any particular family in my mail but i meant that
there are 1000s of such families and so its also not practically too
to help them individually.if we help them through GRYS/KYS then it
may be the best way.it will be more systmatic. There are always lots
of issurs relates in social work. I hope that you can understand that
all without mentioning.

Hope that it will remove all your 'naraajagis'  if any any one
from a'bad can arrange then i am ready to transfer a small amount
(ful ni pankhadi swarupe) for the benefits of the said family.

being able to open the group site.I thinks that yahoo allows india a
very small space of servers thats why this proble comes and no any
group can be opened in india.(dts why its a server problem and not the
blocking of yahoo group by indian govt.)

Subject: Re: [RajputWorld ] Is Teesta more equal than seer?????

Dear Mr. Dev Thakur

I found your posting on the Rajputindia and felt about the cause it's very imprtant issue for the country whether the seer is guilty or not it's not under debate, the guilty part comes next but the important aspect is the different attitude that the law has for a section and some other for another, this column has been very well drafted in finding out the credibility of our law vigilators. I see no hope for the legislative culture in our country simply because many reasons I hope you all know why ?

IT's the irony what should we say for our culture, society or for the country... the majority of we Indians are Hindu not marginally but overwhelming 82%, but we hardly find any leverages been given for this fact. Inspite Hindu culture and its beliefs are always put on sacrificial when question comes for putting examples.. what has been significant change for a Hindu..... there has been one....... THE CULTURE HAS LOST ITS BASIS any can paddle it out through wether its a common man with little knoweldge or a chief minister... A QUESTION arises why INDIA IS CONSIDERED A SOFT STATE because the majority of its people hindus are soft they are easily compromisable...

IF we do a scrutiny to our achievements for Democratic India we would easily find whatever we feel proud of is due to the supression of Hindu Culture one example which is important for us rajput- its a kshatriya dharm to carry weapon and at all times we did but what happened after we got independence our this right was taken away from us.... wheras on the same account shikhs who didnt obliged where allowed keep that so we compromised and it came in our attitude ..... So if any one is to blame its to our self....

I also feel this country doesnt has 82% Hindus no more four religion are here, now there is one more religion in our country and is the secularists who are very dangerouos more dangerous even than Muslim invaders who forcefully converted, they are within our own community and would do damage even more drastically and fast .. it's a warning for future...
stop them if you can.. they are fast and is ingulfing whole of country.. no no i'm no communist im a common hindu who want its interest safe

It's an important issue why we hindus are asked for compromises on national interest and others ammend it as per there benefit, why we could not raise our concern and why we are so apprehensive in airing our views when we are going to stop this and when people will understand them selves and when will they think of there interst ..

with regards
rupesh chauhan

Dear Mahendra,

Eventhough you are younger to me you deserve respect because of your thoughts and sincerety. Your commitment to society is also appreciable and you deserve respect for that too, so do not be angry if by now and then I use Ji or other respected words. Affectionately yours,

Dinesh K. Singh

the second thing is that I wants to draw your attentions toward
the word 'ji' or other respected words you use for me. I strongly
objects it. YOU ARE SENIOUR,ELDER AND RESPECTED FOR ME SO YOU ARE
ALWAYS WELCOME TO CALL ME ONLY AS MAHENDRA. I IN NO CASE CAN COMPETE
YOU IN AGE,BRAIN,EXPERIENCE,GOOD NATURE,WISDOM AND KNOWLEDGE.

one more thing is that a teacher ( I would like to say as a
friend, philosoffer and guide) can never be evaluated by money or
wealth or other cosmetic things. teacher plays the most important role
in developing a person and providing a true guidence of one's life
journey.

I am so luccky that I had taken my education at Rajasthan school
from 4th to 8th Std. and I still remembers their contribution and i
sometimes thinks that i will not be a person today as i m if I had not
get such a wonderful school (It was Nimbahera, near chittorgardh
).after leaving that school from 9th std.(as it was primary school( I
never attended any single period in any class/college cause i never
find an 'eligible teacher' who can teach/educate me.( I thinks now I
got you one after so many years) For me education is a life time self
development process
