Sealed offers are invited by Rajkot Municipal
Corporation for
(1) Out-Right
Construction of Proposed Multi Activity Complex including Commercial
Complex, Library and Community Hall at
FP 703 of TP 4, in ward no.7 Near H.J. Doshi Hospital on Krishna Nagar Main
Road, Rajkot from Comptent Bidders.
(2) Out
right construction of proposed commercial Complex and Community Hall at
Bedinaka ward No.15 near Kesare Hind Bridge, at Rajkot.
Two part Tender documents
containing Pre-qualification Requirements, Tender Conditions, Drawings and
Specifications will be made available from the office of The City Engineer,
Rajkot Municipal Corporation, Dr. Ambedkar Bhavan, Shri Dhebar Bhai Road,
Rajkot, on payment of Rs. 5000.00 (Rupees Five Thousand only) during
working hours from 26/08/02 to 12/09/02 up to 14 hours.
The bidder should have
completed construction of at least 3000 m2 of built up area in last
three years and have a turnover of at least Rs. 1.0 Crores in the last three
years. For purchase of the tender documents, the eligible bidder shall have to
apply in writing on his letterhead along with copies of fresh Solvency
Certificate, Income Tax Clearance Certificate, details of works carried out by
the bidder and proof of above mentioned eligibility criteria.
Each bidder shall have to
pay an E.M.D. amounting to Rs. 1,50,000.00 (Rs. One lac Fifty Thousand only)
along with the Tender Documents. The E.M.D. has to be paid in form of either
D.D. in favour of R.M.C payable at Rajkot or Receipt of Cash deposited at RMC,
along with the bid documents. Offer without E.M.D. will be considered
non-responsive.
For necessary clarification,
a pre-bid conference will be held on
20/09/02 at 16.00
hours in the office of the Additional City Engineer, RMC. Tender documents and
drawings will be open for inspection on
all days of Tender distribution between 10.30 A.M. to 2.30 PM in the office of the Rajkot Municipal
Corporation, Construction Branch.
The last date of receipt of the tender documents will be 27/09/02
upto 16.00 hrs. The tender documents shall have to be submitted by
Registered Post to the Additional City Engineer, R.M.C.
Rajkot. Late tenders will not be opened. Part two Bids of only those bidders
who qualify in Part one pre-qualification will be opened.

documents to any party and to accept/ reject any/ all bids in part/ whole
without assigning any reason thereof.
