Of course, there are many influences that could have affected my data. Here are a few:
1.) I only surveyed students. Obviously, not all Internet users are students. Without time and convenience contstraints, I would have been able to randomly survey Internet users of all ages.
2.) I only surveyed band students. The entire senior class of DGS was not equally represented. Perhaps music students are more likely to download music since they listen to it more?
3.) DuPage County is a rich county- in fact, one of the richest in the world. If I wanted a really accurate view, it would be smart to survey Internet users across the entire country, especially in places that are not as wealthy as the area we live in.
