Marriage is like matrix multiplication.
A succesful marriage is like multpilication of a 50x1 matrix by a 1x50 matrix, the product a 50x50 matrix of higher order that the original matrices.
A failure of a marriage is like multplying a 1x100000 matrix by a 100000x1 matrix, the product a 1x1 matrix, infintesmal when compared to the original matrices. The worst case being that 1x1 matrix element ending up a dud.
If we note, the success and failure of a marriage or the matrix is caused in equal proportions by both the participating components. Also, there should be some basic similarities for the marriage or matrix multiplication to take place

The Principle of Work states that, " Work is done only when a force does a displacement". In common words, no matter how large a force you give, if it does not produce a displacement the Work done is zero. Displacement is also the shortest distance between the 2 points irrespective of the path taken to reach that point.
