* Don't forget to carry these to the examination centre
  • Pen
  • Admit Card

  • Presence of Mind

* Prefer a broad point pen as it will save your time in marking the answers.

* Don't spend too much time on any one question. If you find any particular question difficult, you should skip it and answer the next. After you finish your first round, you can go back to the unanswered questions. Don't keep more than 10-15 questions unanswered for second round and try to do as many as possible in the very first round.

* Always do PSM problems in second round.

* Write down the numbers of questions left unanswered and write probable answers against them, on the 'page for rough work' which is usually provided on the back of your question sheet.

* Divide the sets of questions to be answered in a fixed time.
For AIIMS where 200 questions are to be answered in 3 hours, answer 40 MCQ'S in half an hour so that you can get half an hour in the end to reconsider difficult questions.
For All India Entrance Exam answer 50 MCQ'S in half an hour.
Check speed by keeping watch in front.

* Optimum no. of questions to be attempted in any exam is 85%.

* Last but not least, go to the toilets just before the time of commencement.
