I was born and brought up at Rourkela, the steel city in Orissa, the great Kalinga Utkal which is known worldwide for its great culture and heritage.I completed my secondary education(Xth) from Desouza's English School and higher secondary(XIIth) from Ispat English Medium School, both at Rourkela.  After my higher secondary I completed  Bachelors in Electrical Engineering from Malaviya Regional Engineering College (now known as Malaviya National Institute of Technology),Jaipur, Rajasthan in 1999.

I am working with IBM at Gurgaon in Haryana.   Prior to this I had little over a year stint at CSC - Computer Sciences Corporation at Denver in Colorado and Noida in Uttar Pradesh. This was preceeded by a year long fun at EDS - Electronics Data Systems (India) Pvt. Ltd. at Chennai, India. However, my first love lasted for five sweet years with Satyam Computers Services Ltd. at Hyderabad, Chennai and Atlanta.

My hobbies are going on outings/travelling, listening to hindi music, surfing the internet and cooking...I am kinda chef you know :). I love watching/following cricket, football F1 and Lawn Tennis...however..I hardly play any sports ;).

I have recently found my soulmate. She is Rinku, a Research Scientist in Pharma sector and we got married on 2nd December 2008 in Lucknow.
