
Gayatridevi: Gayatridevi is prime Goddess, the
creator of the universe and also creator of the mankind on the earth. She has
five heads on her body and ten hands. Five heads are symbolic signs of Earth (as a mother to mankind), Sun (as a brightness to mankind), Brahma (as a creator of mankind), Vishnu (as a preservation of mankind),
and Mahesh (as a destroyer of
mankind). Gayatridevi controls all these activities of the universe. Gayatridevi
has a divine power of Sun that enlightens our mind. She possesses “Shakti”
(Universal Power), and devotee can have a “Gayatri-Kavach” (imaginary circle around
devotee’s body) by chanting “Gayatri-Mantra” (text) to keep demons away from
devotees. “Gayatri-Yagna”(a fire is lit with specific herbs and rituals in a limited
area to please Gayatridevi) is also a kind of worship, which fulfills devotee
with powerful physical as well as spiritual health.
The following “Gayatri-Mantra”
(text) is in “Hindi” language, which means “ O’ God, Thou art, the giver of
life, the remover of pains and sorrows, the Bestower of happiness;
O’ creator of the Universe, May we receive thy supreme, Sin-Destroying light, May Thou guide our intellect in the right direction.”

The following “Gayatri-Chalisa” (text) is in “Hindi” but the script is in “Gujarati” language explains that she is competent to help her devotees from any difficulties, which may arise all over the universe. This also explains that devotees are provided with all the amenities and achievements of the life. This is a traditional ritual to worship Gayatridevi in the shortest time.
