FULL TIME/PART TIME SALES ASSOCIATE
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Do you have a flair for CUSTOMER SERVICE and people, along with strong MUSIC KNOWLEDGE?
Do you have a willingness to learn? Are you able to work independently and make decisions? Can you be responsible for opening and closing the store on a regular basis?
Prior retail sales experience is a definite asset.
We are currently looking for a Full Time or Part Time Sales Associate with the above mentioned qualifications, for our store within the Vancouver area.

Store Management
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Create and foster an environment that supports selling techniques to develop incremental sales and enhance customer satisfaction.
Managing store contribution & efficiency by controlling margin; stock-turn, payroll expenses & maximizing sales;
Build a positive work environment;
Motivate your team to provide excellent customer service;
Recruit, hire, train & develop staff;
Marketing & merchandising; practice CDs Are Us core values; set & maintain standards; maintain sound operational base & inventory management.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent.
One year previous retail or related management experience required.
Demonstrated passion for music and product knowledge across a variety of genres and/or extensive knowledge in a specific genre.
Demonstrated communication, organization, management and leadership skills to lead a store team in a positive environment.
Demonstrated financial analysis skills.
Ability to initiate innovative and creative sales and merchandising activities.
Computer literate.
