The Thoreau Group is managed by Dr. Harvey Poe, an eighty-nine year young Washington lawyer, family friend, and former Rhodes Scholar, who incidentally is also a grand nephew of the American poet Edgar Allan Poe (see the recent story published in the Baltimore Sun website). The organization is currently also raising funds for the Asian Tsunami disaster.
