Rajasthan Drought Relief Project
Tax Deductible Donations to the Rajasthan Drought Relief Project can be made to The Thoreau Group (http://www.thoreaugroup.org). This is a non-profit organization dedicated to development and disaster relief. It was founded by Eshan�s cousins, Angma Jhala and Liluye Jhala, in 2001 to raise relief funds after the devastating earthquake in Gujarat, India in 2001.  The Thoreau Group is managed by Dr. Harvey Poe, an eighty-nine year young Washington lawyer, family friend, and former Rhodes Scholar, who incidentally is also a grand nephew of the American poet Edgar Allan Poe (see the recent story published in the Baltimore Sun website). The organization is currently also raising funds for the Asian Tsunami disaster.
