Arkus Delda'an was a
white robed wizard with a good attitide that treated everyone with respect.
He stands at a height of 5'8, just slightly below average and has eyes
that are the grey of cold steel. His curly brown hair extends to just below
his ear line. His one defining characteristic is the dark scar
that runs from about an inch above his right eye, down to about the mid-cheek.
This is the mark that he received from his battle with a minotaur in his
test at
the tower of Wayreth.
Arkus was a very kind
person, one reason that he chose the white robes, and hopes to help those
that need it,
those who are defenseless. Because of
this he began studying the art of being a war mage at a very young age.
He excelled in his studies and took the test perhaps before he was fully
ready. He succeded however, with the scar as a reminder of how close he
came to losing his life.
After his test Arkus immediately set out in search of those that might need his help. After meeting with a group that was going to clear the name of one of their member's father, Arkus joined with them. He made friends among them and honed his magical skills, trying his best to fight the evil that hounded them.
When the group decided
to travel back through time, Arkus naturally decided to go with them and
provide whatever aid they might need. When he got there, however,
he found himself in the lair of his
ancestor...the powerful Fistandantilus.
Fistandantilus used his evil influence to change Arkus to his ways, twisting his spirit until he became a dark, powerhungry version of himself.
Arkus now wears the robes of black. He looks the same as he did before, only the scar on his face has more of a green tinge to it, making him seem diseased. He no longer tries to help others, but instead looks out only for himself, feeding his dark ambitions.
It is unknown whether the work of Fistandantilus can be reversed, though Arkus has shown mercy to one little boy who he could have easily killed.....
DM's Notes: Arkus is a very interesting character, with a variety of paths in his future.
