About the Money
Twenty dollars.

Twenty dollars from 2000 people.

That is what I need to open a small restaurant.

Twenty dollars buys a coupon.

That coupon is good for two full meals at the restaurant, any time six months after date of issue.

Because some will not be able to redeem the coupon for a meal, I pledge 25% of net yearly after-tax profits as an amount that will be divided equally and distributed to each unredeemed coupon holder, once a year, on April 15th of each year.

I will also set aside sufficient funds so that five years after date of issue all coupons yet unredeemed can be traded in for twice face value.

In addition, the coupon includes a small original work of art of a food or kitchen or cooking scene. Not a print, but an original watercolor drawing.

I need 2,000 people, each with twenty dollars, to help me get this business off the ground.

If twenty dollars is too much for you to risk on an idea like this, consider sending ten dollars for one-half coupon. One-half coupons are good for one meal, or one half share of dividends. Consider five dollars for one-fourth coupon. One-fourth coupons are good for half off one meal, and one-fourth share. All coupons, half coupons and even quarter coupons come with the art work.
